My favorite picture was pause. I love the filter, and it's a really creative take on the prompt. My least favorite image is connected. The picture seems to be tilted, and the lighting and angle could make this a much better picture. Overall, I think they followed the prompts very well and they were creative with the prompts. I think that they could improve on their lighting and the angle that the pictures are taken in. The prompt they portrayed the best was pause; it follows the prompt, but still manages to be creative with it. They could've portrayed connected better if they had chosen a better subject.
Magazine Cover:
The name of the magazine I looked at was Bookworm by Catherine ( http://catherinesphotojournalismblog.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2015-01-09T10:17:00-08:00&max-results=7 ). I really liked the pose the subject is in and how the text is arranged. She could've improved on making the font bigger, as it was kinda hard to read.
The thing that really caught my attention was the subjects pose. The color scheme is really great in the photo also, so that also caught my eye. There is a barcode on the magazine, but I think it could've been placed better. It made it more magazine like, but to me, it looks like the back of a magazine because of where she placed the barcode.
I know this picture is a self-portrait since I know her, but even if I didn't I would still be able to tell that this was a self-portrait.
